Jarryd Hayne cleared of dangerous tackle

The grand final week for Parramatta has gotten of to a great start with Jarryd Hayne being cleared of making dangerous contact with legs or feet and being the fifth NRL player to escape suspension, this season. With Jarryd Hayne clear of the charge it mean means that the grand final will have both Jarryd Hayne and Storm fullback Billy Slater playing, making for the dream NRL match up.

The tackle that occurred in the Parramatta vs The Bulldogs game could have led onto Jarryd Hayne receiving a grade one dangerous tackle charge, however Bryson Goodwin pledged his support to Jarryd Hayne in order to help clear his name.

Albeit the event will be trumped up as Hayne vs Slater, Slater has taken a cool approach to the event saying, that he isn’t even interested in Hayne except for some kicking, and acknowledges that the Storm need to watch over Hayne if they are to win.

“He has been playing some great football and is one that we’re going to have to really contain if we’re going to go on to win the grand final.”
Hayne himself is also happy to be cleared of the charge, “Of course I’m relieved. I’m just happy it is over and I can play in the grand final”.If your interested on making a bet on the Grand Final.
